As a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization your donations not only allows BWS to continue the programs, workshops, and exhibitions our members have come to enjoy, but is also a tax deduction for you.

To make a donation to BWS scroll down to the donation form. You need to specify how your donation is used by selecting a fund.  Here are the funds available:

• General Fund - which can be used for operating costs as the BWS Board deems fit consistent with our status as a non-profit organization, the BWS By-laws, and Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).
• Annual MICA Scholarship and Public School Award Fund - Scholarships are given to a College student continuing their studies in the visual arts. Awards are given to High School students working in watermedia.
• BWS Mid-Atlantic Exhibition Awards - which is used to fund one or more awards given to artists whose work is included in the Mid-Atlantic Juried Exhibition.
• BWS Mid-Atlantic Memorial or Honor Award - This type of award is to recognize the memory or work of the person identified in the title of the award. Please be sure to include in the Comment field the name of the person memorialized or honored by your donation.

If you would like to pay using Venmo, you can use the Button below to access our account, scan the QRC, or Search for "The Baltimore Watercolor Society" in Venmo.  As a Verified Charity the transaction fee is only 1.49% plus $0.10. This is lower than the transaction fee using credit cards through Wild Apricot's Financial Service (AffiniPay). When donating be sure to include in the description/comment field, the donation fund (i.e., General Fund, Scholarship Fund, Mid-Atlantic Award, or Mid-Atlantic Memorial or Honor Award) where you would like your donation to be used. If the fund is not specified, we will allocation your funds to the General Fund. If you have questions or run into issues, contact us at information@baltimorewatercolorsociety.org.

If paying with a credit card using the fom below, be sure to select the amount you want to donate (the default is set to $40). You can Enter You Own Amount if one of the predefined choices aren't right for you. 

All donations made to the society are used strictly for educational and charitable purposes. No goods or services are provided in return for your gift. Donations are deductible for federal income tax purposes to the full extent of the law.
