The Baltimore Watercolor Society Appreciates Your Contributions

To help The Baltimore Watercolor Society, Inc. achieve our October 2025 - September 2026 growth goals:

  1. Add to our outreach programs efforts more public school high school art award, along with our current scholarships to MICA. The goal of the Maryland public high school art student awards is to encourage the next generation of watermedia artists. 
  2. A return of  Zoom short programs and workshops to support our members outside Maryland, while continuing to hold in-person events.
  3. Our preeminent Mid-Atlantic Regional Juried exhibition, once again in a physical gallery, plus its workshop. Look for the call for entry in the Fall of 2026.
  4. Continue to explore fascinating opportunities associated with our All-Member Online Exhibition that, in it's first year included Awards where four of the artists' paintings will be featured on the https://ledbaltimore.com/ billboard from January 12 - 15, 2025.
  5. Explore options for interactive elements to our exhibits to allow greater engagement between art and viewers
  6. Videos of events for members only on our website, 
  7. Videos on our YouTube Channel include: Artist Talks about the jurying process by our Mid-Atlantic Jurors as well as Tips for Artist. 
  8. In-person member events, generally in the form of a plein air painting session and lunch.
