My Zoom painting classes begin with a critique of student artwork followed by a presentation and discussion about well-known artists, art movements, and/or different painting styles and techniques. The recorded presentations allow one to easily review lessons. Exercises based on the presentations are optional as you may prefer working in your own direction on your favorite subject matter. If you have a passion for painting portraits, you need to paint portraits: if you love working on landscapes, you need to paint these: and if you are a collager, you need to concentrate on collaging. The MOST IMPORTANT is that you find your own voice, paint what you love, and in your own unique style. All painting will be done outside of class.
