If you teach, describe class
I teach Watercolor Painting at The Art League in Alexandria, VA. The class is intended for students with little or no watercolor experience, but intermediate painters are welcome. The class starts with the basic washes and color mixing and has an incremental approach to painting, starting in still life with the purpose of understanding light, shade, graded washes and glazing. Through the course of 9 weeks the students learn to apply these techniques to landscapes and often a special topic such as flowers or animals.
