Join Hillary Parker for an exciting 3-day workshop exploring the concepts, skills and techniques for a controlled and detailed approach to painting botanical watercolors.
Whether you are a novice or experienced artist looking for a refresher, this effective and informative course allows everyone to paint at their own skill level with the guidance of Hillary’s demonstrations and individual attention. Students will focus on the process of building 3-D form and accurate colors using washes, glazes, fine line work, and dry brush detailing to effectively create delicate, accurate botanical studies.
*Students are asked to bring their own flowers/plant subjects.

From the Baltimore Beltway (I 695) take the exit onto I-70 W and follow for 4.4 miles.
Take exit 87 B to merge onto US-29 N towards MD 99.
Turn right at Rogers Ave. At the traffic light, take the exit to stay straight on Rogers Ave.
Turn left at High Ridge Rd. and the Howard Co. Center for the Arts is on the left.
