Join us for a fun and interesting conversation with Scott Stevenson, Sales Representative and Brand Ambassador for DANIEL SMITH Manufacturing.

  • Do you have questions about Quinacridone pigments?
  • Do you wonder where the color Serpentine comes from?
  • How does the color Moonglow get its name?
  • How does DANIEL SMITH test pigments for lightfastness?
  • What is granulation?

This is a great opportunity to ask questions in a conversational and relaxed atmosphere.

The presentation will start off with the history of DANIEL SMITH Manufacturing and the many aspects of developing DANIEL SMITH products.

You will see firsthand lab paintouts, minerals used to manufacture colors in the Prime Tek line and more.

The Finale...the exciting opportunity to sample a selection of DANIEL SMITH colors and put paint to paper!

Handouts will be given to all participants and there will be a raffle at the end of the program.

DANIEL SMITH will supply small loaner brushes

BWS encourages participants to bring paper, small water container and their favorite brushes to work on a Still Life with DANIEL SMITH paints.

BWS will have items, including fruits and vegetables for several Still Life set-ups. If you have a favorite item, bring it.
