We are pleased to have nationally recognized artist Stacy Lund Levy in this one day workshop.
"Painting Animals in Watercolor"
Capture the personality of an animal, as well as the feel of its soft fur. Learn to select key features that make each animal unique and how to paint fur, short and long, black and white, and all coat colors and textures in between.
Stacy will provide a photo reference or the artist may bring a reference of their own. If you bring your own reference, please be sure that it is in focus, large enough to see all the details, and has a true white and a true dark. The techniques from this class can be used to paint a variety of subjects.
Workshop attendees should have an understanding of basic watercolor techniques.
Artist and Baltimore native, Stacy Lund Levy has been creating art in many forms since kindergarten. She is a former medical illustrator turned professional fine artist and teacher. Currently she teaches classes at Carroll Community College and North Carroll Senior Center, as well as watercolor workshops in and around Maryland. She is both a board member and signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society, and will become a signature member of both the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Watercolor Societies in September. Her work can be viewed at Lundartstudios.com, on Instagram @Artorangutan, and in the ManneqART Museum.
Please pack a lunch and beverage. Light refreshments will be available
