Nicholas Simmons will lead a workshop on Saturday, April 21st, 9:30am - 12:30pm at the Howard County Center for the Arts located at 8510 High Ridge Rd in Ellicott City, Maryland 21043.
Nicholas Simmons, an internationally known watercolor painter and teacher, will show you how to expertly photograph your paintings, then upload and edit the photo images in Photoshop in readiness for painting and printing.
Nicholas will show you how to shoot reference photos and manage your own camera. Using the Photoshop software program, he will demonstrate how to manipulate images in interesting ways to make them more creative and paintable.
In this workshop you will learn the essentials necessary for painting and printing from digital images. It will be particularly valuable for artists wishing to reproduce their paintings in giclee format.
The cost for registration is a moderate $30.
