BWS SEMI-ANNUAL JURYING FOR SIGNATURE ARTIST STATUS REGISTRATION

ASSOCIATE AND NON-BWS ARTISTS WELCOME.

Registration is Open January 10 through March 7, 11:59PM.

APPLICANTS FOR SIGNATURE STATUS IN BALTIMORE WATERCOLOR SOCIETY MUST RESIDE IN THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION: DELAWARE, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, MARYLAND, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, PENNSYLVANIA, VIRGINIA, OR WEST VIRGINIA

Jurying by the Board of Governors will convene on March 22, and decision letters will be mailed to artists within two weeks of this date. Only the Board participates in the jurying process.

As part of registering to have your artwork juried, you must upload four samples of your work that meet the criteria described in the document at the link below. Read this document carefully, even if you have read it in the past, as clarification updates have been made. Be sure each of your four paintings are no smaller than 10 inches on any side, and other criteria in the document are met before submitting your application.

Once you have read criteria outlined in the application and have selected paintings to submit, you will need to upload digital images of them as part of the registration process. Your images must be jpeg or jpg format, at least 1920 pixels on the longer side. The file should be no larger than 3 MB.
