This year, in order that as many of you as possible can attend, we are offering a buffet dinner in the
Wedgewood Room at Turf Valley

Cost: $35.00 (each) for both members and guests.
Time: We will gather in the Wedgewood Lobby at 6:00 pm. Doors will be open at 5:30 pm.

Our speaker is Victoria Wyeth, only grandchild of Andrew Wyeth, great-granddaughter of illustrator N.C. Wyeth, and niece of contemporary realist, Jamie Wyeth. She has given gallery talks and continues to lecture extensively throughout the United States--including the nearby Brandywine River Museum, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Her gallery talks during the Andrew Wyeth retrospective at the Philadelphia Museum of Art were consistently sold out. Her lectures are frequently standing room only.
Ms. Wyeth’s talks are unique. She intersperses her discussions of subject matter and technique with quotes from the Wyeths. To her personal memories and family stories, she adds insights gained through years of conversations with her grandfather and her uncle about their work. Our lecture will be related to Andrew’s watercolor preparation and technique. It will focus on works done in Maine and Pennsylvania.
Victoria’s time is limited that evening, so please plan to gather promptly at 6, as she will be speaking before dinner.
