Join us for an inspiring live demonstration exploring the beauty and fluidity of floral watercolor painting. Watch as Karen Frattali brings blooms to life using delicate brushwork, vibrant color mixing, and expressive techniques that highlight the transparency and spontaneity of watercolor. From loose petals to detailed leaves, this session will cover fundamental skills as well as Karen’s unique secrets and tips that set her paintings above the rest and consistently earn her accolades and awards. Perfect for artists of all levels, this demonstration offers a front-row seat to the creative process and a chance to ask questions in real time. Whether you're looking to refine your technique or simply enjoy the magic of painting in action, this event promises to be both educational and creatively uplifting.

BWS has a limited zoom capacity that can be expanded if we know to expect more participants. All registered participants will be sent the Zoom link before the demonstration.

Karen Frattali, BWS, PWCS, GWS, WSA, LWS, KWS
Karen Frattali has been an artist and teacher in the area for the several decades. In addition to working locally, Karen teaches around the Middle Atlantic states for other art groups, competes in national competitions and is a past officer of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. She has achieved signature status in several of the country’s watercolor organizations. A complete biography appears on her website: www.karenfrattali.com. Over the years she has been honored to participate in the juried events of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society, Baltimore Watercolor Society, Louisiana Watercolor Society, Lancaster County Nat’l Juried Show, Berks Art Alliance Nat’l Juried Show, Watercolor Society of Alabama, Georgia Watercolor Society, Kentucky Watercolor Society and others.
During her tenure as art teacher, she has guided many artists to become accomplished painters themselves. She maintains current weekly classes in Kennett and Strasburg PA. She is represented by Strode’s Mill Gallery of West Chester.
